WILLEMSTAD – All civil servants employed by the Government of Curaçao will soon take part in an integrity scan, aimed at assessing how integrity is perceived and practiced within the public sector. During the scan, civil servants will be asked a series of questions to gauge both their understanding of the concept of integrity and how the issue is addressed within their workplace.
The announcement was made during the latest episode of the government podcast Kiko bo ke men, which provided details on the integrity program being implemented across the public service.
According to Chelsy Gómez Hernandez from the Ministry of Governance, Planning, and Service, the scan marks the first step in the government’s new integrity trajectory. “This process will help us better understand attitudes and practices around integrity within our organization and guide future improvements,” she explained.
