WILLEMSTAD - Yesterday afternoon, a Meet & Greet was held with football legends from Brazil, Colombia, Ajax, and Curaçao, who are participating in the Legends Football Tournament today and tomorrow at the Gròt di Hato field.
Esteemed international football icons such as Bebeto, Faustino El Tino Asprilla, and Jari Litmanen are currently in Curaçao for this highly anticipated event. Representing Team Curaçao, players Brutil Hose, Sendley Bito, Dean Gorré, Lennox Mauris, Gersinio Constansia, Marcelo Chelo Pisas, and FFK President Ramiro Griffith will also showcase their skills.
The tournament matches will be held today and tomorrow. Each game consists of two fifteen-minute halves with a short break of five minutes, and four matches will be played each evening. The event will take place at the Curaçao Airport Venue, located near the road to the airport and across from the renowned Hato Caves. A dedicated stadium has been constructed specifically for this occasion.
The Curaçao Tourist Board, in collaboration with AJAX, has organized this event to promote sports and games in an inclusive manner, aiming to bring people together through their shared love for football.
