WILLEMSTAD - Starting Monday the airport of Curaçao will be closed for all flights. Residents can no longer enter the country. The new measure applies in any case up to and including 12 April.
The government of Curaçao made this decision on March 27. They announced in a letter that the airport will be closed for all inbound passengers from all countries, including residents of Curaçao. This measure has been taken to contain the spread of COVID 19 virus on the island. This directive, the government said, supersedes the previously issued directives dated March 17 and March 20.
