WILLEMSTAD - Airline Albatros is not allowed to fly to Venezuela because it lacks authorization from Venezuela's civil aviation authority. However, a small number of flights have taken place.
The absence of permission is believed to be the reason why the Venezuelan airline has not conducted flights on a large scale to Curaçao thus far. The Curaçao Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) states that it is also a mystery to them why there have been very few flights operated.
CCAA clarifies that the Venezuelan airline still retains all rights to land at Hato as their permissions have not been revoked.
Whether flights from the South American neighboring country will take off in the future remains unknown at this time.
