Management Agreement Between the Government of Curaçao and Sint Michiel Baseball Academy Sharks
WILLEMSTAD – The Government of Curaçao has signed a management agreement with the Sint Michiel Baseball Academy Sharks organization. The Minister of Traffic, Transport, and Urban Planning, Mr. Charles Cooper, together with the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, Mr. Sithree van Heydoorn, signed the management agreement (‘beheersovereenkomst’) on behalf of the Government.
The Sint Michiel Baseball Academy Sharks organization had submitted a request to take responsibility for the development of the sports field in Klein St. Michiel. The total sports area measures 14,000 m², and the agreement grants the organization management rights for five years, with the possibility of an extension.
The Ministers expressed their satisfaction with this agreement, emphasizing their commitment to supporting the well-being of young athletes and providing opportunities for organizations that contribute to the country’s development. They also extended their gratitude and wished the organization great success.
