WILLEMSTAD - The national football team of Curaçao will hold a training camp in Turkey from March 18 to 25, preparing for the World Cup 2026 qualification matches in June. Curaçao will face English team Hull City on July 21 in Alanya, followed by a match against Turkish side Alanyaspor three days later.
“Although our team is not complete yet, I am very pleased with this trip,” says Advocaat about the journey to Turkey. “It demonstrates our professionalism. Additionally, I can train well with the available players and make a good evaluation of everyone.”
During their stay in Turkey, the Curaçao delegation will be accommodated at the Titanic Deluxe Golf Hotel in Belek, Turkey.
The first match in the World Cup qualification series is against Barbados on June 5, to be played in Curaçao. The second match is on June 8 against Aruba. Haiti and St. Lucia are also in Group C. Curaçao needs to finish in the top two to advance to the final round of the qualification. Each country plays four matches, two at home and two away.
