WILLEMSTAD - The Advisory Council has issued a scathing review of a legislative proposal put forth by the MFK faction. According to the advisory body, the proposal contains so many complications that it urges the sponsors to make significant adjustments and rewrite the document. The proposal aims to enhance the labor participation of "young professionals" by exempting employers from income tax and premium levies under certain conditions.
Previously, the Social-Economic Council had already voiced substantial criticism regarding the legislative proposal, raising concerns about the soundness of the legislation, its effectiveness, feasibility, and enforcement. In light of these issues, the Advisory Council recommends that the proposal not be considered unless it undergoes substantial revisions.
