WILLEMSTAD - ADC Laboratory says that the employee who tested positive for the COVID-19 virus did not have direct contact with patients or the public visiting the laboratory in his position.

He worked as a researcher in the lab. There has been no danger to other processes within the ADC. After the first symptoms, the researcher went into isolation on Monday.

Nine of his immediate colleagues have been sent home and need to be in isolation for 14 days. The department where the infected employee worked was rigorously disinfected.
