WILLEMSTAD – 'Attracting professionals to return home can create a virtuous cycle of growth, development, and empowerment for our country'.
This according to former Minister of Justice Norberto Vieira Ribeiro number 15 on the political party PAR.
We have been for centuries sending our smartest people to go abroad with too many staying away and they did help or are helping big countries to innovate and be better.
One of my personal goals is to attract professionals who studied abroad to return home and bring their insights back to their home communities by introducing new technologies, methodologies, and best practices that can drive local development.
Skilled professionals can contribute to economic growth by starting new businesses, investing in local industries, or improving existing enterprises. Their presence can stimulate job creation and increase economic activity in the community.
Professionals in fields such as healthcare, education, engineering, and technology can improve the quality and availability of services in our community, leading to better outcomes for residents'.
Ribeiro says finally 'successful individuals who return to contribute can instill a sense of pride and inspiration among residents. This can motivate others to pursue education and professional development with the intention of giving back.
So with PAR in the government we can work on welcoming back our best brains, help them to settle as a respected professional and also have our successful role models'.
