WILLEMSTAD - Saturday, August 12, 2023, around 4:00 PM, the Police Department received information about an accident that occurred on Weg naar Westpunt at the entrance of Groteberg.
From the preliminary investigation, it became clear that the cause of this accident is due to one of the vehicles not yielding the right of way.
Eight individuals were injured in this accident, including a baby, three minors, and a pregnant woman.
The victims were transported to the Emergency Department of Curaçao Medical Center by FKA ambulances; some of them are in critical condition.
The Traffic Department continues with the investigation.
