WILLEMSTAD - 85 civil servants have been on a three-day course to be updated in the Administrative Law course. The central focus of this course was the realization of sound government decisions.

Parts of this were the general principles of good administration, mandate, enforcement and the most important concepts such as administrative body, decision and interested party.
The legal practice of Curaçao and the region was also vividly portrayed. Based on questions from daily practice, the various procedures and regulations from the National Ordinance Administrative Jurisdiction, Lar, were discussed.
The course was offered through the Legal Platform, an initiative of the Department of Legislation and Legal Affairs and was intended for lawyers and policy officers at government organizations who deal with the Lar in their daily work and who have to provide administrative bodies with legal advice.
The Curaçao Legal Platform has a network function to strengthen cooperation between ministries and offers civil servants the opportunity to exchange/gather information and knowledge in the field of legal matters. With the aim of improving the legal quality of government products.
