WILLEMSTAD - On Kingdom Day, December 15, during 2 naturalization ceremonies, a total of 84 persons presented the declaration of solidarity before the Governor of Curaçao, H.E. Lucille George-Wout. Making the declaration of solidarity is a condition for acquiring Dutch citizenship.
On Kingdom Day, it is commemorated that Queen Juliana signed the Charter for the Kingdom of the Netherlands in 1954 in the Ridderzaal in The Hague.
