WILLEMSTAD - The police issued 52 fines on Tuesday during two traffic checks, as announced by the Curaçao Police Force (KPC).
The controls took place on Cas Coraweg, near the intersection with Schottegatweg East, and on Kaya Pita, near the intersection with Kaminda Rignald S. Recordino, near Abrahams.
Motorists received fines for various offenses, including driving without a valid driver's license, without a valid inspection card, and without insurance. Additionally, fines were issued for unpaid road taxes, missing license plates, and tinted windows. Furthermore, some drivers were fined for using their phones while driving.
The KPC stated that the controls will continue.
