WILLEMSTAD - Minister Charles Cooper, together with the Urban Planning Service (ROP), has issued construction permits for the 'Nijmegen Resort' and 'Vredenberg Resort' to build a total of 51 housing units.

The 'Nijmegen Resort' is located on Nijmegenstraat in the Vredenberg/Marie Pampoen neighborhood. It will consist of 29 housing units divided into two buildings, which will be a combination of apartments and houses. The development will have a total investment of 22.3 million guilders.
The 'Vredenberg Resort' is located between the Vredenberg and Marie Pampoen neighborhoods and will consist of 22 apartments divided into two buildings. During the construction of this project, proper water drainage in Vredenberg and sufficient parking spaces for the apartments will be considered. The development will have a total investment of 16.5 million guilders.
These housing projects are being built in a central neighborhood with various commercial, residential, and tourist developments. Both the 'Nijmegen Resort' and 'Vredenberg Resort' will become important features of the area.
