WILLEMSTAD - The government of the Netherlands has put almost 5 million guilders extra in the Detective Cooperation Team (RST). Minister Raymond Knops of Kingdom Relations says this to the Second Chamber of the Dutch Parliament.

The extra money is used to send more Dutch police officers to Curaçao, Aruba, Sint Maarten and the Caribbean Netherlands.

The RST deals with undermining crime, which poses a threat to the rule of law.
