WILLEMSTAD - A 19-year-old boy who instructed others to commit an assault was sentenced to 7 years in prison.

The case is about a brutal armed robbery in the Banda Abou area (west side of the island). In 2017, the young man was already sentenced to 3 years of juvenile detention, because at the age of 15 he already owned an automatic weapon and a large arsenal of other weapons and drugs.

He committed several assaults (atrakos) and instructed five other boys between the ages of 16 and 24 to do the same.
