WILLEMSTAD - The government is making 1.9 million guilders available for the upgrade of sports facilities. A portion goes towards installing synthetic turf on the Sabana Ballpark field.  

The Little League field in Saliña is also being refurbished. Two sports fields will also receive new LED lighting, including the Victory Boys field in Zapateer. The work will start shortly. Sports foundation FDDK is in charge of the renovations.
