WILLEMSTAD - 17-year-old Dylan Wilson from Curaçao has signed a contract with the American baseball club the Seattle Mariners.
According to the Mariners scouts, Wilson has a great curveball as a standout weapon. Dylan expresses gratitude via social media and considers it an honor to play at the club. Wilson indicates that he has gone through a change in baseball: “I used to be a hard worker, but I have changed myself into a smart worker. This is where the real work begins.”
The Curaçaoan played from the Pre Minor Leagues to the Senior League at Fundashon Hubentut Santa Maria.
