WILLEMSTAD - Divers belonging to CASHA removed 160 kilograms of waste from the sea at Boca Sami on Saturday. The cleanup operation, organized by the Dive Task Force of CASHA, was hailed as a major success.
In a press release, CASHA stated that enthusiastic divers collected a variety of waste from the water, including glass bottles, fishing nets, and other debris harmful to local ecosystems. "We even found a whole kite, which we removed," said CASHA. According to the action group, these efforts contribute to making the sea cleaner and healthier for marine life and future generations.
The CASHA Dive Task Force continues its commitment to protecting the Caribbean Sea, encouraging everyone to practice responsible waste management. Thanks to the collective efforts of volunteers and support from various diving schools, the sea at Boca Sami has been significantly cleaner.
