WILLEMSTAD - A twelve-year-old special need boy died yesterday in a fire in a house on Cubaweg. The Rio Canario fire brigade immediately acted after the report.
The fire brigade immediately started extinguishing the fire, but the large flames quickly shot out of the roof. The boy's grandmother was rescued from the house in time, but the fire spread too quickly and the boy could no longer be saved.
An investigation is currently underway into the cause of the fire.
