WILLEMSTAD – Tonight, Brionplein will host the TIME4SHINE street football tournament, where boys and girls will compete in exciting 4-on-4 matches. The event also marks the festive conclusion of the third season of Favela Street Kòrsou, a program that uses street football as a tool for personal growth. 

Over the course of 18 months, young participants in Favela Street Kòrsou have worked on building self-confidence, leadership skills, and the tools to become positive role models in their communities. 

Leading up to the finale, the youths themselves organized pre-tournaments in various neighborhoods across the island. These events brought communities together while giving participants the opportunity to showcase their organizational and leadership abilities. 

Tonight, the winners of those neighborhood tournaments will face off in the final at Brionplein. The public is warmly invited to cheer on the players and enjoy an evening of music from DJ JEAY, lively atmosphere, and spectacular street football action.
