WILLEMSTAD - Punda will step even deeper into the holiday spirit this Thursday evening when the Punda Christmas Tree, located across from the Queen Emma Bridge, is officially lit at 6:45 p.m. The festive evening will feature live music, happy hours and a variety of seasonal treats.
The event begins with an appearance by Santa Claus and his elves, alongside a cozy assortment of market stalls offering sweets, snacks and holiday goodies. Restaurants throughout Punda will host live music and special happy hours, adding to the lively atmosphere.
For shoppers, the celebration also marks the start of the Black Weekend Sale, beginning during Thursday’s shopping night.
The local hospitality sector and the Downtown Management Organization (DMO) invite the entire community to join in and celebrate the start of the Christmas season together.
