WILLEMSTAD – The Hak’e Curaçao Summer Festival (HCSF) is facing more challenges than ever before in compiling this year’s line-up. The organization has announced that the search for a balanced mix of popular headliners and the familiar festival atmosphere is proving to be both costly and complex.
In a statement to fans, the HCSF team emphasized that they are working hard to create a program that meets the high expectations of attendees. Finding the right balance between beloved local artists and international top acts has become a larger challenge this year, mainly due to rising costs.
Despite the difficulties, the festival organizers are determined to maintain the quality of the event and deliver an “exceptional line-up.” Fans will need to be patient, as the official announcement will be made once the right combination is secured.
Past editions of the Hak’e Curaçao Summer Festival have featured numerous international and local artists, including Prince Royce, Elvis Crespo, UB40 with Ali Campbell, Nicky Jam, Olga Tañón, Servando y Florentino, and Fernando Villalona. The festival offers a diverse mix of music genres, such as bachata, merengue, reggae, and local styles, attracting a wide range of attendees each year.
An official date for the next edition has not yet been announced, and ticket sales have not yet begun. “Visitors can expect more information soon via the festival’s official channels,” said HCSF.
