WILLEMSTAD - Singer Amos Balentin has been awarded the prestigious Premio Edgar Supriano, Curaçao’s most important music award, during a festive ceremony held at the World Trade Center.

Balentin emerged as the evening’s biggest winner, taking home both Singer of the Year (Kantante di Aña) and Song of the Year (Kansión di Aña) for his popular hit Bai Pe’.
ICONS Named Band of the Year
The music group ICONS was crowned Band of the Year (Banda di Aña), while other top performers were also recognized for their achievements over the past year.
Relax Band won the award for Best Small Entertainment Band.
Highway Band received the prize for Best Large Band.
A Celebration of Local Talent
The award ceremony was organized by the Asosiashon di Músiko i Artista di Kòrsou (AMAK), which described the night as a major success and a proud moment for the island’s cultural and artistic community.
