United States opens borders to vaccinated travelers

MIAMI - Travelers must show proof of vaccination and a negative test starting November 1 to enter the United States. This applies to all countries.

There will also be a system that does contact tracing. It is not yet clear which vaccines will be recognized by the US.

The entry ban for all travelers who have been to all Schengen countries, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Brazil, South Africa, Iran or China in the past fourteen days before their visit is cancelled. This is what the coordinator of the Covid fight team Jeffrey Zients decided at the White House. This will lift the so-called 'travel ban' that was introduced in March 2020.
