WILLEMSTAD - Corendon is offering a one-time, unique cruise on October 31, 2025, from the Netherlands (IJmuiden) to Curaçao. Never before have passengers been able to sail from the Netherlands to Curaçao on a cruise.
This is a 20-day cruise aboard the Renaissance (formerly Maasdam) of the British cruise line Ambassador Cruise Line.
After IJmuiden, the following ports will be visited: Dunkirk (France), Lisbon (Portugal), Ponta Delgada (Azores), St. John's (Antigua), Roseau (Dominica), Castries (Saint Lucia), Bridgetown (Barbados), with the final stop being Curaçao, where passengers will disembark.
Once in Curaçao, Corendon can arrange the return journey to the Netherlands by plane. Customers also have the option to extend their stay in Curaçao for a longer vacation or stay on the island.
Travelers can choose between single, double, triple, and quadruple cabins. A maximum of 1,200 guests can be accommodated on this unique voyage. The Renaissance offers numerous facilities, including two swimming pools, eight bars, various restaurants, a wine bar, shops, a theater, and a state-of-the-art wellness & fitness center.
During the journey, the Renaissance will offer a variety of activities, musical performances, shows, and Caribbean entertainment, all of which are included in the price.
The primary language on board, both among the crew and in announcements, is English. However, Dutch-speaking travel guides from Corendon will be on board to assist passengers during the trip.
The Renaissance is a collaboration between Ambassador Cruise Line, the French Compagnie Française de Croisières, and Corendon. This cruise ship, with a rich history, has been completely renovated this year.
