WILLEMSTAD - Sandals Royal Curaçao is already fifty percent booked for the months of April, May and June. The Prime Minister has met representatives of Sandals Resorts International (SRI).

The resort has opened the bookings with a special offer. Guests who book a stay at Sandals Royal Curaçao before November 2 will receive a 45 percent discount on their stay during all travel dates.

Sandals Curaçao will initially include 350 luxury rooms and suites. According to the website Travelpro, there is already talk of a further expansion. It is expected that about 250 jobs will be created in the initial phase. Later, that number should grow to more than 800 jobs.

For Sandals Resort International, Curaçao will be the ninth destination in the Caribbean. The resort is expected to open in April 2022.
