Renaissance Curaçao Resort & Casino completes large-scale renovation

WILLEMSTAD - The Renaissance Curacao Resort & Casino announces that the renovation, in which the hotel has invested $ 12 million, has been successfully completed. The resort has redesigned the lobby, 223 hotel rooms, the - Wind Creek Carnival Casino Curacao and the Nautilus restaurant.

"Our goal was to reflect the natural beauty of Curaçao with a calming and relaxed atmosphere," said Maylin Trenidad (General Manager). "Guests can expect a sleek and more modern design at the resort that at the same time remains true to our roots in Curaçao and reflects the Renaissance brand."

The hotel has worked together with Dash design, a leading design team based in New York, during the renovation. They helped to ensure that the elements from inside and outside blend into each other, but also connect the charms and culture of Curaçao.

After the renovation, the lobby offers a cozy and warm atmosphere where guests can fully enjoy on arrival and during their stay. "In the lobby you can taste the feeling of Curaçao and you are constantly fascinated by the various intriguing structures and hidden surprises in every corner."

The rooms now feature a mix of Curaçao and natural elements, including local ceramic art and vibrant but subtle colors that ensure a welcoming presence. "The new rooms offer guests a wonderful resting place or a relaxing workspace."
