WILLEMSTAD – A new addition to Curaçao’s tourism landscape is set to take shape with the announcement of PODS Resort by Dormio, a development aimed at combining innovative design with sustainability. The resort, located along the island’s popular Spanish Water, seeks to contribute to Curaçao’s reputation as a premier destination in the Caribbean.
PODS Resort will be managed by Dormio Group, a leading company specializing in the rental and management of high-end resorts and hotels. With over two decades of experience across Europe, Dormio has built a strong track record for delivering seamless guest experiences and supporting property owners through efficient operations. The group currently manages 47 resorts and 7 Hotels with more than 3.3 million guest nights each year in prime locations, including coastal areas, alpine regions, and urban settings across the Netherlands, Austria, France, and Spain. Construction is planned to commence in the second quarter of 2025, with the first set of 60 PODS scheduled for delivery in the third quarter of the same year. The entire resort, featuring 244 PODS, swimming pools, restaurants, playgrounds for all ages, and recreational areas, is expected to be completed by the last quarter of 2026.
