WILLEMSTAD - Due to the preparations for the Pagara Party in Pietermaai, the Pietermaaiweg will be closed to traffic from December 30 in the evening.

The organization expects a large number of visitors to ignite the fireworks. That is why extra safety measures will be taken and extra facilities will be installed, such as public toilets, barriers and security with fire extinguishers.

The festivities start on New Year's Eve from 12 pm, around 3 pm the pagara fireworks are set off.
