WILLEMSTAD - The striking Landhuis Bona Vista in Mahaai is being revived. With General Manager Frank Holtslag at the helm, Landhuis Bona Vista will become a small-scale boutique hotel with apartments and bungalows with a living room, full kitchen, and a private terrace. There are also romantic cottages available that make a stay in this authentic Curaçao Country House unique.

“The boutique hotel has an adult-only concept. Everyone from 18 years and older is welcome to stay at the hotel. Beside the accommodations, there is also a spa for massages and a small gym. The name of the spa and the bar-lounge is “Vriendenwijck”. This is the former name of the Country House, which we now bring back in the contemporary concept. Until a few years ago, Landhuis Bona Vista was a popular place for parties. This will also become one of the spearheads that the hotel will focus on in the upcoming period.” According to Frank Holtslag.

Holtslag is known in Curaçao as the general manager of Floris Suite Hotel and the large part he has made in his work for the LGBTQI-community. Last month, on behalf of the king, he received an award from Governor Mrs. George-Wout. Holtslag will continue his work fort he LGBTQI-community, in which Landhuis Bona Vista will also play a role.
