KLM and Winair revive codeshare agreement to enhance connectivity

PHILIPSBURG - Airlines KLM and Winair have rejuvenated their codeshare agreement, enabling travelers to book seamless trips to destinations served by both carriers with a single ticket. Winair announced the renewed partnership on Wednesday.

This collaboration allows passengers to check in at any KLM or Winair office, have their baggage transferred directly to their final destination, and receive all travel documents for their journey at once.

The agreement includes Winair flights to popular destinations such as St. Barth, Saba, St. Eustatius, St. Kitts, Nevis, and Tortola. It bolsters connectivity through Princess Juliana International Airport on St. Maarten, further solidifying its role as a key hub in the northeastern Caribbean.

Winair CEO Hans van de Velde expressed pride in the renewed partnership: “KLM's choice to work with Winair demonstrates their confidence in our safety, reliability, and service. This agreement enhances convenience and connectivity for our customers.”

This move underscores the importance of collaboration in improving regional air travel and providing more streamlined options for passengers.
