WILLEMSTAD - Curaçao has been selected as the host for the Caribbean Hotel Investment Conference & Operations Summit (CHICOS) in 2025, one of the most prestigious events in the Caribbean’s tourism and investment sector. The official announcement was made during the CHICOS 2024 conference currently taking place in Barbados. 

The Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) views the selection as a recognition of the island's rapid growth and development in the tourism industry. With increasing tourist arrivals and a rising average daily rate, Curaçao has positioned itself as a "promising destination" in the region. According to CTB, this success is attributed to the island's commitment to sustainable growth and innovation within the tourism sector.
