WILLEMSTAD – Curaçao has once again secured a spot in the top ten most popular intercontinental destinations from Amsterdam Schiphol. According to data from the airport, the island ranks fourth, just behind global cities such as Dubai, New York, and Atlanta. 

This high ranking highlights Curaçao's appeal as a beloved vacation destination in the Caribbean. Hato International Airport welcomes several flights from the Netherlands daily. KLM operates a daily direct flight to the island, while TUI fly offers thirteen flights per week and Corendon flies five times weekly. 

Following Curaçao in the rankings are destinations like Toronto, Minneapolis, Detroit, and Shanghai, placing the island alongside major international cities. This underscores the importance of tourism for Curaçao's economy. 

The growing availability of direct flights from Amsterdam further enhances the accessibility of the island for travelers, ensuring tourism continues to be a vital pillar of the local economy.
