Curaçao Gains International Recognition as Top Travel Destination

WILLEMSTAD — Curaçao has once again captured international attention. In a recent NBC News broadcast, the island was praised as the number one international destination based on search data from Google Flights.

This international recognition places Curaçao ahead of major cities such as Osaka, Tokyo, and Rio de Janeiro, highlighting the island’s growing appeal among American travelers.

In addition to its rising popularity as a travel destination, Curaçao has also made a mark in the luxury accommodation sector. The renowned Baoase Luxury Resort was named among Travel + Leisure Magazine’s prestigious 'Top 500 Hotels of the World' list for 2025.

The double recognition further cements Curaçao’s status as a premier destination, offering both natural beauty and world-class hospitality.
