CTB’s customer service course begins

WILLEMSTAD - Customer service is a mindset that sees providing service that truly satisfies your customers as a priority. Offering quality service requires a change in behavior—The service giver needs to become more aware of his surroundings, know what the customer really wants and be mindful of the product or service he is providing. With this in mind, the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) is offering a customer-service course starting May 20, aimed especially at any who come in direct contact with tourists as part of their work.

The participants, who will be divided into groups of 15 persons each, work at the Curaçao Police Force, Immigration, the airport customs, the Curaçao Ports Authority (CPA) and Curaçao Airport Partners (CAP). The course consists of the following modules: At your Service!, Effective Communication, Handling Challenging Situations, and Going the Extra Mile. The course will continue until September of this year and is coordinated by Teamwork Curaçao.

The CTB wishes to thank all participating organizations, while wishing all the best to the participants. The accompanying picture shows the first group at the start of the course, accompanied by Paul Pennicook, CEO of the CTB, CTB representatives and the trainers.
