KRALENDIJK - This year, Corendon will be part of the grand Bonaire Regatta, supporting a major sports and cultural event on the island.
The Bonaire Regatta 2024 will take place from October 6th to 12th. The week-long event promises a sailing spectacle, vibrant cultural festivities, lots of music, delicious food, and, of course, fun for the whole family.
Corendon is sponsoring the event as a 'Platinum Sponsor' and is offering special packages through its website, with a selection of the island’s finest hotels.
“At Corendon, we are proud to be involved as a sponsor in this year’s Bonaire Regatta, an event that perfectly highlights the sporting and cultural richness of the island. Bonaire is an important destination for us, and by supporting this iconic event, we aim not only to provide international travelers with a unique experience but also to strengthen our connection with the local community. Through this sponsorship, we want to better reach the local market and show our appreciation for the island and its residents,” explained Dick Gussen, Director of Brand, Media & Partnerships at Corendon.
This event attracts sailors and sports enthusiasts from all over the world, eager to compete in the clear waters around Klein Bonaire.
The Bonaire Regatta was first organized in 1967 and has since grown to become the island’s largest event.
Bonaire is an important destination for Corendon. For this reason, Corendon Dutch Airlines is starting two weekly flights from Amsterdam to Bonaire. Passengers will fly aboard the ultra-modern Airbus A350, traveling from Amsterdam via Curaçao to Bonaire’s capital, Kralendijk. The first flight is scheduled for November 3rd.
