WILLEMSTAD - On August 20, CHATA will hold an Interim Board election to elect a board member for the CHATA Board. The Election will take place during the Membership Meeting of CHATA at the Renaissance Curaçao Resort & Casino at 9.00AM.

The CHATA Board position became vacant with the resignation of the General Manager of the former Hilton Curaçao Hotel, Mr. Stephan Clar. The current candidate for the board is Mr. Ricardo Esteban, General Manager of the Sunscape Curaçao Resort Spa & Casino. 

In addition to the board election taking place, CHATA has also invited Mr. Juan Lopez Ramirez (Manager & Tax Partner) from Deloitte who will be providing an update on the Tax Developments in Curaçao and Maghalie van der Bunt (Managing Director of VPCO) who will elaborate on the challenges that education is facing today . Furthermore, BPM will give a presentation on the importance of Sustainability and CTB will provide the sector with more information on the digitalization of the Immigration Cards.
