CHATA: 'Curaçao entry policy gives many problems'

WILLEMSTAD - One in three tourists has a negative opinion about the rules and procedures needed to enter Curaçao. This is apparent from a study carried out last month at the request of the tourism industry organization CHATA.

This survey also showed that about 15 out of 100 foreign travelers enter the island without the PLC card. All the desired efforts do not lead to the desired result, according to research agency Curconsult. The implementation of decisions taken does not always seem to be possible.

For example, there are still problems with scheduling appointments for the antigen test and the payment thereof. This leads to congestion at Immigration and irritation among passengers.
