Celebrating Wingo’s Inaugural Flight from Bogotá to Curaçao

adding 288 weekly seats from Bogotá, Colombia

WILLEMSTAD - The inaugural Bogotá-Curaçao flight was celebrated in a pleasant atmosphere at the Curaçao International Airport. Speakers at the reception were the Minister of Governmental Affairs Planning and Public Service, Mr. Armin Konket (in lieu of the Minister of Economic Development), Director of Communications of Wingo, Mr. Juan Sebastián Molano, Director Marketing, Air Service and Tourism of the Curaçao Airport Partners, Ms. Peggy Croes and Marketing & Product Manager of the Curaçao Hospitality & Tourism Association, Ms. Vianny Henriquez.

Wingo

Curacao has proven itself to be a favorite destination among Colombians, with 23 thousand visitors from that country in 2018, good for a 38-percent growth compared to the previous year. These two additional weekly Wingo flights take the total weekly Bogotá-Curaçao flights to no less than 13—certainly reasons to thank Wingo for adding Curaçao to their destinations.

The new flights, on Thursdays and Sundays, will allow more Colombian visitors to come, enjoy and get to know the island’s culture, history, architecture, beaches and tourist attractions. The flights will be operated with a 142-seat capacity Boeing 737-700. The timetable will be as follows:
