WILLEMSTAD - The Brion City Center & Hotel will open in November this year. This is possible now that the allocation for the tax facilities, better known as "tax holiday", has been completed. This was announced by the new owner of the hotel complex Akash Soemeer.

The owner says that they are now arranging everything logistically to get the furniture from abroad. The furniture for the decoration of the 80 rooms of the hotel and the equipment had already been purchased but could not be transported pending the granting of the tax holiday arrangement by Tax Affairs.

Now that this has been taken care of, the goods can be free of import duties on transport to the island. It takes a maximum of 60 days for the cargo to arrive on the island.
