PHILIPSBURG - After the successful reintroduction of its codeshare agreement with KLM in November, Air France has now entered into a new codeshare partnership with regional carrier Winair. This agreement aims to make travel easier and more convenient for passengers traveling to destinations such as St. Barth, Saba, St. Eustatius, Antigua, St. Kitts, Nevis, and Tortola.
Through the new codeshare, Air France will add its flight numbers to destinations operated by Winair. This enables passengers to book a single ticket for flights served by both airlines. Customers can check in at any Air France or Winair location, have their luggage sent directly to their final destination, and receive boarding passes for the entire journey in one go.
Hans van de Velde, CEO of Winair, expressed the benefits of the partnership, stating, “This collaboration with Air France enhances travel options by offering seamless connections between Europe and the Caribbean. Travelers can now enjoy same-day travel with greater flexibility and peace of mind, knowing that Winair provides reliable service and has a strong safety reputation.”
He also emphasized the significance of the partnership, noting that it reflects Air France's trust in Winair and strengthens the airline’s role as a key player in regional air travel.
