2019 was one of the safest years for commercial aviation

According to Aviation Safety Network if the number of people has decreased, the number of accidents has increased

Despite the accidents of the Boeing 737 MAX, the year 2019 was one of the worst insurances for commercial aviation, according to the Aviation Safety Network data. If only the number of others has decreased, the number of accidents has increased to a higher level than the average of five years.

During 2019, a total of 20 fatal aircraft crashes were recorded, resulting in 283 deaths. It has been reported that 2019 is the seventh year most insured by the number of fatal accidents and the third most insured by the end of many. More safe in the aviation history was 2017 with 10 accidents and 44 lives lost.

In observing this five-year average of 14 accidents and 480 deaths, the past year shows a markedly larger number of accidents.

Three accidents involucraron vuelos de pasajeros, six fueron vuelos of cargo. One out of every 20 accident aircraft was operated by airlines in the EU. "Black List", by ciento in comparison with 2018.

Surprisingly, but most of the accidents (11) occurred in North America (compared to one in 2018 and three in 2017). Five accidents occurred in remote parts of Canada and Alaska. Despite the progress made through various security initiatives by the Canadian and American regulators, they are still being of concern.

Given the estimated worldwide air traffic of approximately 39,000,000 flights, the accident table is a fatal accident per million million flights.

Reflecting on this accident table, Aviation Safety Network CEO Harro Ranter stated that the level of safety has increased significantly: “If the incident table had remained the same as there have been a few years ago, there have been 34 fatal accidents in the past year. The table of accidents of the year 2000, including the inhabitant inhabited 65 fatal accidents. There is a huge progress in terms of safety in the last decades ".
