There’s a brand-new game from last week since President Biden decided to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race.
Mrs. Kamala is young (59), articulate, energetic, and a prominent voice on abortion. She’ll definitely give Mr. Trump a run for his money. Mrs. Harris has quickly secured the support of enough Democratic delegates to become her party’s nominee, but she still needs the Democrats to firm up their support quickly. The sooner there is unity (including Mr. Obama endorsing her), the better.
For Mrs. Harris to succeed on election night, the Democratic Convention in Chicago next month must not be too woke. People in the US are sick of too much progressive stuff. Finally, choosing a Vice President’s (VP) candidate is paramount for the Democrats. The VP can’t also be a progressive. The VP must be a man and must probably be white. There’s a thin line for Mrs. Harris to move.
