Curacao’s reef fish don’t get a break during the coronavirus prevention lockdown on the island.  Banda Bou fishermen defy government fishing ban and take to the sea.  Social distancing ignored (or impossible) for some on small watercraft.

During this same period, not one but two police cars arrived at Playa Lagun to eject a couple swimming near the shore.  Meanwhile, fishermen continue to get a pass from the security guard on duty there.  Fair play anyone?
