Are illegal aliens also being treated for HIV?

The Antilliaans Dagblad (Dutch newspaper in Curaçao) article, dated October 16, at least creates confusion.

It says: "They receive treatment just like any other patient to prevent further development into AIDS."

When inquiring with the internist-infectiologist at the outpatient clinic of the Sehos (hospital) where the HIV patients receive their medication, nothing is known about providing medication. There is only 1 place in Curaçao where HIV medicines are provided and that is the Sehos pharmacy. Also, at the Salu pa Tur (Health for All) foundation, only an intake of HIV patients is done, no illegal aliens are treated.

And why only for illegal people from Venezuela? And not for illegal people, from Jamaica, Haiti, Guyana etc.? For decades, illegal immigrants from these other countries have not been able to receive medication for HIV in Curaçao!

In Curaçao, I can offer them nothing but the lab tests. Undersecretaries Knops and Blokhuis, are they going to send money, and when? Illegal people are still not being treated for HIV in Curaçao.
