A phone conversation with the hospital

Phone rings ….

Me: “Hello”

Phone: “Hi good morning here with CMC; Sir, you have an appointment with Dr. B. tomorrow.”

Me: “Not me but my brother is the patient.”

CMC: “We must cancel your appointment because all the medical specialists are on strike. Is your brother dialyzing?

Me: “No, but he needs to come for a wound check after his leg amputation. He also needs instructions on how to care for the wound.”

CMC: “There's no way to do it; the doctors are not working. Your brother can come next week Friday for his next appointment.”

Me: ... “What should I do?”

CMC: …!

Dear readers, I present to you the unvarnished truth about the current state of affairs in our hospital. It is my earnest hope that the medical professionals in charge swiftly address these issues, ensuring that the people receive the healthcare services they rightfully deserve. It is disheartening to witness the presence of numerous problems in a hospital that was built with such grandeur. It is only fair that the people are spared from such adversity.
