WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao Business Association (VBC) has started an investigation into the financial impact of the recent island-wide blackout on local enterprises. To gather the necessary data, the organization is calling on all businesses — members and non-members alike — to complete a short survey.
According to VBC, the information is essential to accurately assess the economic damage caused by the outage. The results will be used to advocate for a more reliable infrastructure and to apply pressure where improvements are most urgently needed.
Entrepreneurs have until Wednesday, September 3, at 12:00 p.m. to submit their responses.
The survey is available online through a dedicated form. VBC stressed that broad participation is critical in order to gain a complete picture of how the blackout affected the local business community.
