MIAMI – U.S. airlines are significantly expanding their flight schedules to the Caribbean this winter, giving travelers more options and stronger connections to popular destinations, including Curaçao and Aruba.
American Airlines is increasing frequency on existing routes while adding new flights to some of the region’s busiest islands. Delta Air Lines is focusing on growth to destinations such as St. Vincent and the Grenadines, while United Airlines is launching direct service from Newark to St. Kitts and Trinidad, in addition to continuing its Bermuda operations.
Meanwhile, JetBlue Airways will open new routes from Fort Lauderdale to Grand Cayman and Santiago de los Caballeros, while also boosting service to several other Caribbean destinations.
Spirit Airlines is taking a slightly different approach, adjusting its winter capacity but maintaining its reputation for low fares—continuing to appeal to cost-conscious travelers.
The Caribbean has long been one of the top winter getaways for U.S. tourists. With its beaches, vibrant culture, and warm climate, the region attracts millions each year. This expanded route network means vacationers will have more opportunities than ever to escape the cold and enjoy the Caribbean sun.
Airlines say the expanded schedules reflect strong and growing demand for travel to the region. For travelers, winter 2025 promises to be a season of greater choice, new destinations, and improved connections.
