RIJSWIJK - Travel organization TUI treats Dutch people to sunny live images from Curaçao. On digital screens of Exterion Media, passers-by can dream away for a moment with the live images of the tropical island and experience how nice it is now.
The screens, 270 in total, can be found in the various shopping centers in 20 cities across the country.
Curaçao was deliberately chosen for the campaign. It is one of the few sun destinations that the Dutch can visit at the moment. And that makes it a popular holiday destination during this period.
Frans Leenaars, Chief Marketing Officer Wester Region at TUI: “Traveling is a bit different than you are used to at the moment, but even nowadays you can relax on a safe and carefree holiday. Curaçao is also a wonderful destination in the winter and how can we show that better than with a live stream? We are proud of this innovative collaboration that TUI and Curaçao Tourist Board have entered into with Exterion Media.
Muryad de Bruin, Regional Manager at Curaçao Tourist Board adds: “It surprises holidaymakers that they can enjoy a relaxed and carefree holiday somewhere during this period. A look at how good it is to be on Curaçao at the moment is exactly what is needed now!”
The campaign started last week for a period of two weeks. It is the first national Digital Out-of-Home campaign in which international live images are broadcast. 20 digital screens from Exterion Media can be clearly recognized by the striking light blue TUI sticker.
To give the campaign extra strength, 250 regular digital screens have been used, which also show the campaign.
